Maintenance Technician – Aurora, IL
We are hiring Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Aurora, IL. These are full-time, long-term roles supporting industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay & Shifts:
1st Shift: Tuesday – Saturday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $26.00/hr
3rd Shift: Monday – Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM | $29.00/hr
Job Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on conveyors, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment
Work with motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, belts, pulleys, sensors, relays, and drive assemblies
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime
Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and part diagrams to diagnose and repair issues
Use a multi-meter and other electronic testing equipment to identify problems
Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules and standards
Track work orders, machine downtime, and inventory using tablets and inventory systems
Qualifications:
Previous experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment (conveyors, PLCs, motors, sensors)
Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with electronic testing tools such as multi-meters
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
Comfortable working in a
warehouse/production
environment and wearing steel-toe shoes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize repairs under time pressure
