Job Description Description: Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting plant operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and general facility repairs. This position helps ensure production runs smoothly by minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment, and working collaboratively with other departments to solve problems quickly and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related issues. - Safely complete minor carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. - Assist in the design and fabrication of tools or modifications to production equipment. - Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve operational challenges.

Skills and Qualifications: - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Experience with HVAC systems and plumbing repairs. - Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in maintenance. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments. Requirements: Qualifications: High school diploma, or GED required Completion of a vocational/ training school program or relevant certifications preferred Certified Maintenance Technician designation preferred Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC knowledge required Proficient with hand tools, forklifts, welders, grinders, and measuring devices Forklift Certification per OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.178(1)(3) or ability to obtain Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Must be dependable and able to respond to overtime or after-hours needs Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work safely in mechanical, electrical. and related maintenance environments; electrical safety training is provided and required
