Summary: The purpose of the Golf Groundskeeper position is to maintain the landscaping of their assigned areas and provide outstanding customer service to both our guests and owners. The position requires that the person be able to meet the physical demands of the job, performs manually or operate machinery to perform course maintenance activities as directed.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and improve grounds, including lawns, gardens, trees, shrubbery, and other outdoor spaces Perform routine landscaping duties like mowing, edging, pruning, and fertilizing Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and snow blowers Implement seasonal care such as planting in the spring or leaf removal in the fall Inspect the grounds regularly for potential hazards or signs of damage Perform minor repairs on outdoor structures such as fences, gates, and walkways Ensure sidewalks and driveways are clear of debris or snow for safe passage Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team on larger projects Assist in preparation and cleanup for outdoor events Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations Perform other activities as directed Superintendent. Must be able to work alone and stay on task. Must be able to get along with others and work well in a team environment. Ability to give constructive feedback and offer ideas for change and improvement. Work in adverse weather; cold/heat; rain/snow. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Current Valid Driver's License Prior Landscaping experience Must be able to work alone and stay on task. Must be able to follow directions, verbal and written and work safely and competently. Make guests and owners feel welcome and appreciated, give excellent customer service. Comfortable and familiar with general maintenance and cleanup of equipment. Ability to give constructive feedback and offer ideas for change and improvement. Must be able to get along with others and work well in a team environment.
