Administrative Clerk | Temporary position $19/hr. | On-Site King of Prussia, PA
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to provide clerical support to their busy department in a school setting. This long-term temporary role plays a key part in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient management of the department activities.
A day in the life of an Administrative Clerk • Track and manage information on new student referrals and set up pending files. • Input and update Special Education, Gifted, and 504 student data in the district SIS system. • Prepare and distribute class lists and monthly notifications for IEPs, re-evaluation reports, and 504 plans to teachers, psychologists, and specialists. • Prepare Approved Private School applications and packets for Pennsylvania Department of Education approval. • Generate state reports and maintain accurate student data. • Review student packets for accuracy and proper filing. • Monitor weekly absence reports for Occupational and Physical Therapy staff. • Provide administrative support to all student services staff on the district SIS system. • Handle mail, faxing, and maintain student records. • Set up and maintain files for all Special Education, Gifted, and 504 students. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Administrative Clerk position High school diploma required. Specialized training in word processing, typing, and computer applications preferred. Excellent secretarial and clerical skills. Knowledge of general office procedures and ability to operate office machinery. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail. Ability to be flexible and work independently. Three years of experience in a similar role preferred. Required clearances: State Police, Child Abuse Registry, and PDE FBI.
