Job Description
Support senior coverage bankers in managing relationships across the NBFI segment, including fund managers, insurance entities, and alternative lenders Lead credit due diligence and transaction structuring for bilateral and syndicated lending, subscription facilities, NAV-based financing, and other fund-related products Prepare credit memos, client pitch materials, and internal approval documentation Coordinate with product partners across capital markets, treasury, and trade finance to deliver integrated solutions Monitor portfolio performance, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting the NBFI space Ensure adherence to internal risk policies and regulatory requirements as part of the First Line of Defense Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining KYC and AML documentation MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
4-8 years of experience in corporate banking, credit risk, or financial institutions coverage Strong understanding of fund structures, credit underwriting, and regulatory frameworks applicable to NBFIs Prior exposure to subscription lines, fund finance, or sponsor coverage preferred Bachelor's degree required; finance, economics, or related discipline preferred Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
