What You’ll Do
- Define project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements, leading projects from initiation through handoff.
- Communicate customer needs, specifications, timelines, and budget considerations to cross-functional teams, including engineers, senior leadership, and consultants.
- Monitor production schedules daily and identify potential challenges.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and direct the project team to resolution.
- Track financials and prepare detailed project status reports to ensure requirements and cost controls are met.
- Maintain documentation for project plans, procedures, and deliverables.
- Present technical and project information to stakeholders.
- Support larger programs and provide guidance to junior Project/Product Managers.
- Recommend process or policy improvements to enhance project execution.
- Engage regularly with customers, peers, and leadership teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in materials, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, program administration, or related fields.
- Proven track record managing fast-paced, short-duration projects within electrical manufacturing, power generation, or power distribution industries.
- Industry knowledge of UL standards such as:
- UL 891 Switchboards
- UL 1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear
- UL 67 Panelboards
- UL 857 Busway
- UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment
- UL 62368/60950 IT Equipment (preferred)
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
