TITLE: Sr Business Analyst
TYPE: Contract
LOCATION: Norristown, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Remote
START DATE: October 2025
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide advanced analysis and documentation support for initiatives centered on data and analytics. This role partners with stakeholders across the business to evaluate existing processes, map future-state workflows, and capture application dependencies. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for developing high-quality documentation, supporting change requests, and ensuring that requirements are fully defined and aligned with organizational objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply appropriate oversight to ensure solutions align with security standards, business priorities, and compliance expectations.
  • Act as a trusted intermediary between business users and project teams, ensuring that objectives and expectations are clearly communicated.
  • Review and document existing applications, their dependencies, and current use cases to build a foundation for future improvements.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by monitoring satisfaction, addressing concerns proactively, and ensuring consistent delivery.
  • Track and document challenges within systems or workflows, offering recommendations that improve efficiency and prepare the business for future needs.
  • Provide consistent updates to project managers and team members, communicating progress, issues, and outcomes.
  • Build a deep understanding of core business operations, functions, and processes in order to anticipate needs and contribute solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams to clarify requirements and ensure a strong understanding of user interactions.
  • Capture and refine process requirements, revisiting them with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and changes.
  • Partner with project managers by providing detailed documentation and insights drawn from stakeholder discussions and user feedback.
  • Develop and maintain a variety of supporting materials, including requirement guides, training resources, and reference documents.
  • Support business teams in shaping requirements for new use cases and evolving needs.
  • Assist with the timely completion of project deliverables by stepping in where needed to remove roadblocks or help team members meet deadlines.
  • Manage change requests, from initial intake to closure, ensuring smooth execution and proper documentation.
  • Monitor progress on assigned tasks, tracking them through completion while escalating risks when necessary.
  • Produce detailed process flow diagrams and visual aids that support stakeholder understanding and facilitate decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in business analysis with progressive responsibility across Agile and Waterfall projects.
  • Strong capability in eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful; comfortable adapting to new tools and sharing knowledge with peers.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio or comparable software.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting third-party software implementations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while effectively prioritizing and managing workload.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams in matrixed environments and bridging communication between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills; able to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Skilled in creating business analysis deliverables such as use cases, process flows, data dictionaries, traceability matrices, and business rules.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices including backlog creation, sprint planning, and iteration review.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards such as version control, revision history, and requirement identifiers.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • IIBA certification.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and related platforms.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and solution-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, interpret, and present large and complex datasets with accuracy.
