Overview

Join to apply for the CDL Truck Driver role at Land O'Lakes, Inc. This regional driving position requires overnight stays for routes with weekends at home. Trucks operate in Neosho, MO; Cedar Falls, IA; or Mechanicsburg, PA. This role is part of our Nutra Blend business, a leader in manufacturing and distributing quality vitamin, trace mineral, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry.

Responsibilities

• Follows all driving and safety policies
• Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations for drivers
• Comply with safety processes and promote safety for self and others
• Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly
• Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
• Must be able to use a powered pallet jack

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience
• Possesses valid driver’s license including:
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Airbrakes
• HAZ-MAT Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsements
• Additional endorsements may also be required
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; respectful demeanor
• Able to learn and complete safety and compliance training
• Must be able to be out from home a minimum of two nights weekly

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 60 lbs
• Capable of sitting and remaining alert while driving for up to 11 hours
• Active movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and climbing
• Wearing personal protective equipment as required
• Working across temperature zones and environments with dust and chemicals
• Shift schedules include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays
