PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT: Transportation of products in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Safely and efficiently transport products.
2. Properly carry out a pre-trip and post-trip inspection and document findings in a DVIR each time the truck is driven.
3. Properly report and fix any items on the truck needing repair before driving on any public roadway.
4. Properly maintain and take pride in equipment being driven to carry out job functions.
5. Obey all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
6. Proper use of placards and product labelling when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Proper CDL for truck being driven.
2. Proper endorsements for products being transported.
3. Medical Card.
4. Physical capability to move heavy materials.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

1. Ability to drive a variety of manual transmission vehicles.
