Overview

Retail Merchandise Associate at The TJX Companies, Inc. (TJ Maxx). TJX is the world’s leading off-price retailer and a Fortune 100 company, with opportunities across our stores, distribution centers, and offices.

Location: USA, TJX Maxx Store 0719 Stuart, FL. Starting pay range: $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and embodying customer experience principles; maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas to support business needs.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customers according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow established procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery and maintain overall store cleanliness and organization.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support shrink-reduction programs and participate in safety initiatives to maintain a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Retail customer experience preferred

Qualifications and Requirements

• Customer service oriented with ability to engage customers and maintain a positive store environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting
