Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support our Finance team during the fiscal year-end period. This role is critical for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reconciliations and journal entries.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts.
- Conduct accounts reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post monthly close-related journal entries (JEs).
- Reconcile investment accounts, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Assist with other fiscal year-end accounting tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Strong skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), including formulas and data manipulation.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in fiscal year-end close or audit support.
- Experience in a fast-paced finance department or similar environment.
Details
- Pay: $30 - $34/hr. based on related experience
- Pay cycle: Weekly | Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered for enrollment.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35 hours per week)
- Hybrid or onsite work flexibility. If working Hybrid, applicants must provide their own laptop to utilize at home.
- Hybrid Schedule: 2 days onsite, 3 days’ work from home. Must utilize own computer for work from home days.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
