What’s the job?

Sign On Bonus: $5,000 paid out within the first 30 days of employment

Pay: $36.14 – $40.69

Schedule: Night shift, rotating days. 6pm-6am

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting pneumatics, electronics to the component level, and working on PLC ladder logic.
• Work with thermocouples, RTD’s, various level sensing devices, thickness detectors, consistency transmitters, load cells, and other high-tech devices.
• Possess a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with electrical and electronics maintenance principles.
• Trouble shoot machine breakdowns, repair situations, and safely restore the machine to proper operating condition.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and JSA’s while performing tasks and at all times on the premises.

What do you bring?

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Ability to solve machine operation problems using deductive reasoning and electric test meters.
• Inspect, replace or repair non-operational equipment and components hindering equipment operation.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment using multi-meters and current meters.
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout instructions; rebuild components for plant equipment.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic theory.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical principles and knowledge of various plant processes.
• Assist line mechanics and electricians as needed to support production, including all listed tasks and other support as required.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively to support daily maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

Environmental Conditions

Manufacturing plant is not temperature controlled; dust, fumes, and high noise areas are present. Noise levels exceed 80 dB in some areas. Moving equipment (forklifts, buggies, genie booms, industrial sweepers) travel throughout the facility, sometimes in congested areas.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Average 40 hours per week; ability to lift 70–90 pounds; vision requirements including near, peripheral, and depth perception; ability to stand for long periods; use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel; reach with arms; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; occasional sitting and talking/hearing. Must pass a HUE Test.
