Champion Home Builders, Inc. is a leading manufacturer in the housing industry. We offer a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace and are looking for a motivated HR Generalist to join our team.

Compensation: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
• Administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS, including new hires, transfers, terminations, job classifications changes, and tracking paid time off; perform data entry.
• Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Administer FMLA and state unemployment and related programs.
• Responsible for workers’ compensation administration and maintaining records of work-related injuries.
• Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and facilitate company-wide events and employee communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other related HR/payroll or administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR or related experience.
• Solid understanding of HR compliance (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Experience with recruiting across levels, use of online recruiting tools, and applicant tracking systems.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with UKG (UltiPro) HRIS preferred.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work in a team manufacturing environment.
