Opportunity:
Board Certified - Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Provide locum tenens IR coverage with general interventional radiology services• Work 8-hour day shifts (typically 8am-4pm) with evening call 4pm-8am and 24-hour call on weekends• Perform approximately 10-15 procedures during an 8-hour on-site day shift• Respond to emergency call backs as needed (average 1.5 hours of callback per shift)• Must be experienced in a wide range of interventional procedures including:• Diagnostic vascular intervention (angiography - venous and arterial)• Therapeutic vascular intervention (angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy)• Embolization therapy• Vascular access devices/PICCS and central lines• Port-a-cath insertions and IVC filters• TIPS procedures• Aspiration/drainage procedures and percutaneous needle biopsies• Abscess drainage, thoracentesis, and paracentesis• Pain management procedures including joint/epidural injections• Vertebroplasty and arthrograms• Gastrostomy tube insertion and nephrostomy/ureteral stent placement• Cryoablation procedures• Stroke thrombectomy capability preferred but not required• Must have active ND license (or IMLC eligibility) with clean malpractice history• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications• Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days
