Overview Merchandise Associate (Part-Time) position with the Santa Cruz Warriors for the 2025-26 basketball season. Responsible for greeting customers and assisting with merchandise questions or concerns. Flexible to work in the merchandise trailer during games and in the retail store on Saturdays and Sundays. Reports to Manager, Marketing. This is a part-time position located onsite in Santa Cruz, CA.

About The Position The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking to hire a part-time Merchandise Associate for the 2025-26 basketball season. We are seeking hardworking and passionate professionals who will be responsible for greeting customers and assisting with merchandise questions or concerns. An ideal candidate will be flexible to work in our merchandise trailer during games and in our retail store on Saturdays and Sundays. This position will report to Manager, Marketing. Key Responsibilities
Greet and provide outstanding customer service with high energy and willingness to help others Assist customers by showing and providing information on specific products Provide suggestions and opinions to help customer make product selections, while achieving sales goals Checks inventory on regular bases to maintain a fully stocked store front and trailer Fulfill online orders and process all sales, exchanges and returns via a POS system Required Experience & Skills
6-12 months of public-facing customer service experience, preferably in a sales role Outstanding cash handling experience and available on weekends and all game nights (24 games) Available for special events during the season (e.g. season ticket holder viewing parties during weeks with away games) Compensation
