This position has overall responsibilities for managing the Quality Technicians on the production floor across all shifts. This role is a SQF practitioners and ensures the safety of all food products produced adhere to all standard operating procedures (SoP’s). Communicate to Line Leads and if necessary line employees on daily production plan.

REPORTS TO

: Quality Manager

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Hire, coach, and direct the work of all Quality Technicians on all shifts. (hire with the support of an HR Recruiter) Conduct training for Quality Techs to ensure knowledge and understanding of all processes, and testing requirements in a muti-customer environment. Schedule Quality Technicians to adequately support the production schedule. Conduct periodic checks to validate paperwork is accurate and testing is complete timely and properly per PPG and/or customer requirements. i.e. ingredient expirations, date codes, receipts, packaging, film, etc. Coach Quality Leads to lead the Technicians on their shift with respect and support. Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings with employees. Monitor and approve timecards using our HR systems. Work with maintenance department to report any equipment issues and partner to complete root cases analysis. Administer and support all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Knowledge of the food safety, SSOP’s, GMP’s and train others in these areas. Support customer trials. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) 3-5 years of supervisory experience in Food Packaging High school or GED Red Zone Experience (preferred) Fishbowl Experience (preferred) PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
