What You Can Expect

We are seeking a forward-thinking and customer-centric Senior Director of Product Management to lead the definition, evolution, and strategic growth of the Smart28 platform. This role will define our service offerings through each product, guide user experience and interface development, build collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and drive both short- and long-term platform roadmaps. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating solutions that focus on procedural and service innovation, not just product features, with clear accountability for customer success and market leadership. This position is a hybrid position and requires 3 days onsite per week at our Englewood, Colorado facility.

How You'll Create Impact

Customer Experience Leadership Define product and service offerings, articulating what value each Smart28 product delivers to the customer. Serve as the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) lead across hardware and software development, ensuring intuitive, seamless customer interactions. Gather and integrate customer insights systematically to guide product improvements and service enhancements. Product Ownership & Evolution Act as the overall product lead for the Smart28 platform. Develop and own the product roadmap and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organisational strategy. Drive continuous product evolution based on structured customer feedback, field input, and competitive intelligence. Lead the long-term evolution of the Smart28 platform, focusing on procedural innovation and service delivery over traditional product-centric thinking. Strategic Partnerships & Thought Leadership Serve as the collaboration lead with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), fostering partnerships to validate concepts, accelerate adoption, and strengthen market credibility. Champion external innovation by connecting with experts and early adopters in the field. Long-Term Strategic Planning Develop and implement a long-term roadmap for Smart28 that prioritises procedural excellence and service delivery models. Anticipate industry shifts, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs to keep Smart28 at the forefront of its category. Key Marketing Philosophy Embed a service-first mindset across all product management activities, positioning Smart28 solutions as enablers of customer success through enhanced procedures and techniques rather than standalone products. Key Performance Indicators Platform adoption and certification rates. Customer satisfaction and user experience metrics (e.g., NPS, UX testing outcomes). KOL and community engagement impact. Achievement of strategic roadmap milestones. Market share growth and platform contribution to revenue.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred). 12+ years of progressive experience in product management, platform strategy, or service innovation, preferably in healthcare, MedTech, or SaaS-enabled environments. Deep understanding of customer experience design, user-centric product development, and service-based business models. Proven leadership in developing and executing long-term product and technology roadmaps. Strong experience working with Key Opinion Leaders, user groups, and expert communities. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and organisational leadership skills. Expertise in agile development processes, customer journey mapping, and innovation frameworks. Prior experience integrating HW and SW solutions into cohesive service platforms is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

Hybrid, flexible working model in place. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and it may reasonably require additional hours during the week and weekend; specific requirements will be determined with Manager.

Travel Expectations

Up to 10% overnight travel

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $230,000 - $260,000 USD annually
