Overview:
We are seeking a Store Checkout Experience Transformation Product Manager to lead the evolution of our checkout systems, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and frictionless experience for customers. This role will drive innovation in both physical and digital checkout, leveraging emerging technologies, data insights, and customer-centric design to enhance speed, convenience, and reliability. What You'll Do: Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the vision for the future of store checkout, focusing on efficiency, customer experience, and business impact. Define revenue targets, customer KPIs and objectives that will drive additional growth for stores. Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, self-checkout, mobile checkout, and frictionless commerce. Execution & Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, payments, and data science) to deliver transformative checkout experiences. Own key checkout metrics (conversion rates, transaction speed, abandonment rates) and drive improvements through data-driven decision-making. Work with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant checkout solutions. Customer & Business Impact: Deeply understand customer pain points through research, analytics, and testing, ensuring the checkout experience is fast, intuitive, and reliable. Partner with store operations to drive adoption of new checkout technologies and optimize in-store workflows. Collaborate with payments, fraud, and finance teams to ensure a seamless and secure transaction process. Technology & Innovation: Explore and implement emerging checkout technologies such as self-checkout enhancements, scan-and-go, mobile payments, biometric authentication, and AI-powered personalization. Drive POS modernization and integration with digital channels for a true omnichannel experience. Evaluate and improve system performance, ensuring high availability, speed, and security. What You'll Bring: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in retail, checkout, payments, or e-commerce. Strong understanding of store operations, POS systems, payments processing, and emerging checkout technologies. Proven track record of leading complex product initiatives from concept to execution, delivering measurable business impact. Experience working with engineering, UX, analytics, and operations in an agile environment. Data-driven mindset with experience in A/B testing, conversion optimization, and performance tracking. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
