Job Description: We are seeking a talented and hardworking Director of Ecommerce (Shopify Developer) to join our team at Ballerina Farm. This person is responsible for owning and executing all e-commerce strategy, Shopify-centered projects and development, IT troubleshooting, coding needs, and technology-first projects.

Shopify Development: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and applications to enhance user experience. Optimize the Shopify store for performance, speed, and responsiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement custom features and functionalities. Integrate third-party apps and services into Shopify. Web Development: Design and implement web pages, landing pages, and other web assets that align with our brand. Maintain and update existing web properties. Conduct A/B testing. Ensure websites are fast, secure, mobile-friendly, and optimized for SEO. Integration & IT Management: Manage integrations between Shopify and other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, and marketing tools). Oversee and maintain APIs and other data connections. Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Assist in the selection, deployment, and management of new technology solutions. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot IT-related issues as they arise. Requirements: Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language). Familiarity with coding, back-end development and APIs. Experience with Shopify’s admin system, including product management, collections, and discount settings. Knowledge of SEO best practices. Experience with IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software. Strong understanding of system integrations and API usage. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A robust understanding of user experience, A/B testing, consumer habits and best practices for web Preferred Qualifications: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma). Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices. Basic understanding of analytics tools like Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics.
