Job Description - About the Job: Reporting to the Area Coach, the Restaurant General Manager manages a Taco Bell restaurant within company policies to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability. This role involves hands-on training, responding to customer needs, and modeling appropriate behaviors, while building a culture of recognition and motivation. The Day-to-Day: Build People Capability Drive culture, resolve conflicts, motivate, and communicate effectively to achieve results. Recruit and develop high-quality operators to deliver excellent customer experiences. Build a strong team of Managers and Team Members. Lead performance management processes. Lead by example and embody Taco Bell's HUNGRY principles: Hungry, Understanding, Never Follow, Grateful, Relentless, Youthful. Leverage culture and people capabilities to enhance brand performance. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Managers and Team Members. Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience Ensure execution of marketing programs. Maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory, and supplies, for a restaurant with $1.0m - $2.0m in sales and 500-800 transactions daily. Meet health, safety, and security standards. Resolve customer issues and train managers to meet service standards. Use customer insights to improve satisfaction and address complaints systematically. Develop SMART action plans to resolve issues. Monitor Speed with Service performance and coach teams accordingly. Grow the Brand, Sales, and Profits Control Profit & Loss through cash, inventory, labor, and financial review. Maintain facilities and equipment according to standards. Prioritize capital expenditure requests and manage vendor relationships. Analyze sales, labor, and inventory data to meet growth targets. Develop and implement annual operating plans. Minimum Requirements: Is This You? High School diploma required; University degree preferred. 2-4 years of operational management experience in QSR or retail, including P&L responsibility. Strong math, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Good communication skills and team-building ability. Basic computer literacy. Passion for quality food, service, cleanliness, and speed. Energetic, positive leadership, proactive, and ethical. Proven leadership in hiring, coaching, and developing managers.
