Birdi Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and driven
Senior Project Manager
to lead and manage complex infrastructure, systems, and low-voltage Design/Build projects from inception to completion. This role requires the ability to manage both design and construction tasks, making it ideal for a well-rounded professional with deep experience in project delivery and technical oversight.
The ideal candidate brings a consulting background, strong client management skills, and a proven ability to manage large-scale programs across commercial, aviation, and transportation sectors. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate internal staff, third-party vendors, and clients to deliver high-impact solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full lifecycle management of complex infrastructure and technology projects, including both design and construction phases Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders Coordinate and oversee internal teams, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements Drive design development and engineering reviews, ensuring alignment with construction execution Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Manage risks, resolve conflicts, and lead scope and change order negotiations Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve field issues Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, permitting, and regulations Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality communication Foster strong relationships with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders Facilitate project meetings, documentation, and reporting to keep all parties aligned
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 8+ years of project management experience; experience in both design and construction is essential Background in consulting or client advisory services highly preferred Demonstrated experience managing large programs or multi-phase projects Experience with commercial, transportation, or airport infrastructure projects Knowledge of low-voltage systems, physical security (CCTV, access control), and related infrastructure Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and other project management software PMP certification or equivalent is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience overseeing electrical and low-voltage installations is highly desirable
