Job Title: Project Director Department: Resto & Recon - Small CapEx Reports To: Director of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Travel Required: 75% Summary: As a Project Director, you will develop relationships with regional accounts and decision makers, creating revenue through sales opportunities. You will oversee projects involving restoration and construction, ensuring successful execution and client satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify leads and prospects through creative and proactive resource review.
Maintain awareness of potential construction, remediation, roofing, and exterior projects.
Learn and sell all BlueTeam services, including restoration, reconstruction, roofing, remodels, and renovations.
Deploy into storm-impacted areas to identify, source, and sell viable targets.
Respond promptly to all losses or projects as the first line of response.
Vet leads and project specifics properly.
Prepare scopes and estimates for projects in the assigned region.
Monitor scope and budgets, review and approve work orders and subcontractor billings.
Negotiate and settle invoicing and scopes with relevant parties.
Convert all construction opportunities effectively.
Qualifications:
Established book of business/clientele.
Understanding of commercial property structures.
Proven ability to develop and maintain revenue-generating relationships.
Self-motivated and independent.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Strategic planning skills to meet sales/revenue goals.
Knowledge in construction, design, or commercial real estate.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Xactimate, and CRM software.
Ability to cold call and convert leads into business.
Team-oriented with a willingness to share information.
Understanding of quality assurance, safety, and site visits.
Willingness to travel for business.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
At least 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
Additional Skills: Ability to read and present complex information, solve practical problems, and perform physical demands with accommodations as needed. Work environment includes site inspections and exposure to weather and noise.
