Director, Hospital Development and Business Partner Relationships The Director of Hospital Development and Business Partner Relationships is responsible for the strategic development of partnerships with transplant centers, medical examiners, hospitals, and community partners to fulfill STA’s lifesaving mission. This role requires strong leadership capabilities and oversight of statewide teams. The director will use real-time data to drive partnerships, seek opportunities, and deliver results. This highly collaborative role will work across the organization to serve more families and save more lives through the organization’s mission.

Join the STA team responsible for cultivating relationships with healthcare centers and key leaders in the OPO field across STA Texas regions. Cultivate and execute strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Development and Communications Officer. Foster a Center of Excellence and Innovation by collaborating with internal STA stakeholders. Build relationships and act as the liaison between STA and partner health centers. Present data stories to stakeholders responsible for department metrics and dashboards. Establish and manage department budget and financial controls. Ensure implementations align with organizational best practices and partner needs. Represent the organization at community engagement events as a spokesperson. Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement, adjusting interactions as needed. Maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues to achieve goals and foster a healthy work environment. Plan hospital contact and engagement activities, ensuring optimal on-site service levels. Collaborate with the Quality department on process improvements, regulatory compliance, and initiatives like Quality Improvement, Lean Process, and PDSA. Provide 24/7 support for Hospital Services operations as needed. This role requires 25% travel. Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or communication; experience may substitute for education. Healthcare experience preferred. 8-10 years of experience leading teams and external partnerships. Deep knowledge of the OPO industry, regulatory standards, and Texas hospitals or equivalent. Experience in organizational account management and maintaining excellent relationships. Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively at all levels and represent the organization publicly. Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive, quick, and creative. Ability to work independently with flexibility and entrepreneurial drive. Strong interpersonal skills for developing productive relationships across diverse partners and colleagues. Ability to travel by air or auto; valid driver’s license required. Benefits:
