JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Global Supply Chain is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing and continuously enhancing the end-to-end global supply chain at Edesia. This includes global production demand planning, international and domestic procurement and purchasing, inbound and outbound logistics, and warehouse operations across multiple geographies.

This role is accountable for driving cost containment, optimizing global supply chain performance, and increasing operational efficiency while ensuring the seamless and timely flow of raw materials and finished products to meet both production needs and international delivery requirements in support of Edesia’s global mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement a scalable global supply chain strategy aligned with organizational growth and last mile distribution strategy Lead and empower cross-functional teams across demand planning, procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations Establish and track KPIs for cost control, efficiency, delivery performance, and quality Promote cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Finance, and Program teams to align operational priorities Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities across procurement, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing Implement lean principles, process improvements, and automation tools to increase productivity and reduce waste Negotiate vendor contracts that support long-term value and financial sustainability Manage budgets and forecast supply chain costs in coordination with Finance Production Demand Planning

Oversee demand forecasting and production planning to ensure alignment with customer needs and manufacturing capacity Drive data-driven planning processes that improve resource allocation and minimize inventory carrying costs Procurement & Purchasing

Lead sourcing strategy for raw materials, packaging, technical goods, and services Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships with a focus on value, quality, and delivery performance Ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices Logistics & Distribution

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and compliantglobal shipments Manage freight spend, optimize transportation routes, and collaborate with 3PLs to minimize delivery delays and costs Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain Warehouse Operations

Direct warehouse operations to ensure safety, inventory accuracy, and space efficiency Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstock and stockouts, optimizing storage and material flow Implement technology and best practices to streamline material handling and reduce labor costs QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role Strong background in cost control, process improvement, and operational excellence Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions, particularly in a manufacturing or food production environment Proficiency with ERP systems, demand planning software, and supply chain analytics tools Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills PREFFERED ATTRIBUTES:

General office environment; occasionally visits production area. High utilization of office equipment, phone, computer, etc. Ability to work remotely, as needed or requested. Domestic/international travel may be required up to 20% of time.
