Creating a career you love? It's possible. Team and Role Overview: The Ads Quality team helps Pinners move from inspiration to action by showing the right ad at the right time. We are at the core of the entire ads system, optimizing for Pinner, Advertiser, and Pinterest value. Our modules are a foundational shift in how we curate and personalize the ads experience, providing meaningful content variety to enhance user engagement. The work is impactful, visible, and crucial to our mission of inspiring millions to create a life they love. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting Pinners and has a strong intuition about user experience, with a deep understanding of ads delivery systems and the dynamics of introducing diverse content into the user interface. What you'll do:
Own
the strategy and execution for ad presentation by developing thematic modules that guide users towards high-value actions with minimal disruption. This includes articulating strategic vision, developing roadmaps, and driving end-to-end execution. Partner
with engineering, machine learning, data science, product marketing, design, and other teams to develop new Pinner experiences. You will serve as the primary contact across technical and cross-functional teams, requiring a thorough understanding of the ads delivery stack. Build
a suite of ad modules that change how Pinners engage with Pinterest, empowering them to opt into experiences that suit their preferences and increasing value for advertisers. What we're looking for:
5+ years of experience in digital advertising or related roles such as Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Data Scientist. Proven ability to define new products and strategies in ambiguous environments and execute from concept to launch. Strong stakeholder collaboration skills and empathy. Deep understanding of business metrics and marketplace tradeoffs. Preferred: Experience with Ads Marketplace, Ads Formats, and ads delivery systems. Preferred: Experience with marketplace experiments. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Additional Information: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. It offers a flexible work model with in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter, anywhere in the US. The salary range is $163,064 — $335,720 USD, based on experience and location.
