Speech Language Pathologists
to join our team in
Costa Mesa, CA ! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team. Job Details: Age group: PreK-21 years old
Caseload: approximately 30
Greater Orange county area
Start: ASAP
Pay dependent on experience - starting at $78/hr
Push-in services, working with nonverbal students with autism
3 SLPs and 3 SLPAs on site
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution
Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs
Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will: Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
Attend IEP Meetings
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
Consult with Teachers
Work as a part of Special Ed team
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
