Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

This is a permanent (FTE) position that will be hired directly by an Insight Global client

Job Description: Master Data Analyst (FTE) - San Francisco, CA

You will act as the single owner and subject matter expert for all master data, including but not limited to customer, vendor, chart of accounts, and product data.

• Own and manage master data across customer, vendor, product, and financial domains
• Ensure data integrity through validation rules, quality checks, and cleansing initiatives
• Define and enforce data governance policies, metadata standards, and compliance controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align master data with business requirements
• Administer master data systems (Netsuite, Planful, Salesforce, Workiva), including access and configuration
• Support system integrations and troubleshoot data quality issues across platforms
• Maintain accurate data for financial planning and reporting; provide ad-hoc analysis for audits and decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a data analyst, master data, or data governance role, within a public company.
• Hands-on experience with Netsuite, and Planful is high preferred, but any FP&A tool will work
• Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) and the impact of master data on financial reporting.
• Familiarity with financial reporting requirements for public companies (e.g., SOX compliance).

• Salesforce and Workia tool experience
