Sonny's Enterprises Inc. - Conveyorized Car Wash Equipment Leader is hiring: WAR

Overview

Responsible for the accurate setup, picking and packing of materials according to client specifications. Responds quickly to pick requests and maintains a sharp eye for detail. Requires the ability to follow directions and company procedures to eliminate the threat of workplace injuries and ensure packages are sent out accurately. Must be able to work in a team setting to meet company and individual goals. Requires mathematical skills to ensure the right amount of products are in the package.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and organizing items ordered by customers and clients and preparing them for shipment
• Sorting customer orders with high speed and efficiency
• Verifying shipments are sent to customers with the proper labeling and correct inventory inside the package
• Wrapping and sealing the shipment, ensuring proper tagging, correct destination, weight and timestamp
• Record data on shipment of packages both inbound and outbound
• Package, ship and inspect outgoing packages of goods
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Conduct inventories and maintain appearance and flow of goods and workspace
• Utilize computer system to identify tasks, enter completed tasks and locate goods
• Fill orders for the delivery, sale, and movement of products and goods
• Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Adhere to housekeeping standards
• Follow warehouse safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1+ years of experience in stockroom/picking/packing required
• Basic math and reading skills required
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
• Forklift experience/training a plus
• Experience with loading/unloading trucks a plus
