Job Description

Armed Security Guard – Carthage, MS, United States of America

Salary: $14.00 per hour

Job type: Part-time

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts; weekends; 8 hour shifts (fluctuate); possible over 8 hours

Employer: Baptist Medical Hospital

Location: Carthage, MS area

Responsibilities

• Enforce all laws, rules, and policies within scope of authority.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Maintain neat appearance and grooming; ensure reliable transportation and phone.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or provide documentation allowing residency and authorization to work.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
• Some basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have 1-2 years of security guard experience (preferred but not required).
• Military and/or Law Enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Education & Licenses

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Guard Card and Gun Permit (Certification Requirements).
