Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant activity and conduct hourly rounds (checking trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and gates).
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic.
• Answer the switchboard after hours.
• Billing loads; follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company-owned vehicles as needed.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability as they enter the facility.
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.
• Fill in the Security Department as needed and cover for the Security Supervisor in their absence.
• Work generally 2nd or 3rd shift, with some 1st shift as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain, in all weather, and up/down stairs.
• Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
• Effective written and oral communication; attention to detail; professional attitude at all times.
• Ability to work any shift; security experience a plus.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• EOE, including disability/Vets.
