Are you passionate about streamlining operations and connecting cross-functional teams to drive business success in a complex, regulatory-driven environment? As a Business Process Analyst you will serve as the critical link between the client tenant and project teams and the DDWA/WDS regulatory, compliance, contracting, and appeals teams, aligning systems, processes, and communication to ensure smooth execution across teams. In this role, you will play a critical part in translating business needs into clear technical and operational workflows while supporting ongoing process improvement in areas such as contract administration and appeals management and knowledge sharing across teams. You will also lead efforts as the first point of contact for client tenant programs, as they relate to systems, training, documentation, and performance tracking, to help advance operational efficiency and cross-team collaboration.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $71,100 - $99,450, and for Eastern Washington varies between $63,444 - $88,741. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora Foundation intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

- Assess, analyze, and document end-to-end business processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, and user guides to support cross-functional understanding
- Identify gaps, pain points, and recommend improvement or automation opportunities
- Facilitate client tenant training and serve as a first-line resource for system and process-related support
- Maintain a dynamic knowledge base for recurring questions and resolutions
- Participate in regulatory planning and operational check-ins
- Serve as the daily operational liaison between DDWA and client tenant team
- Translate business needs into clearly defined operational or technical requirements
- Monitor workflow performance, resolve operational blockers, and drive cross-team accountability
- Provide comprehensive project support, including scoping, planning, tracking deliverables, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration for initiatives related to regulatory operations workflows
- Communicate project and client tenant needs and updates to broader regulatory operations teams, track and schedule/coordinate follow-up actions as needed
- 2-4 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably healthcare, insurance or similar field.
- 2-4 years of experience in business process analysis, regulatory operations, or systems administration
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms, operational workflows, and knowledge management
- Strong project management skills, including cross-functional coordination and delivering results in ambiguous environments. Expertise in document control processes, including intake, quality control, storage, versioning, and access.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional discussions and resolve operational challenges
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience delivering training sessions and building support documentation
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
