Entry Level Dental Assistant – Uptown Dental Group, New York, NY

At Uptown Dental Group, we are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our family-oriented practice. In this role, you will support our dental team and ensure a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Take and develop X-rays (intraoral and panoramic) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, following infection control protocols
• Help manage patient flow and ensure appointments run smoothly
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and support
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Experience with dental equipment and procedures, including X-rays
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a dental office
• Familiarity with dental software and charting is a bonus
