Job Title: Records Manager

Location: Sebastian, FL

Job Summary: The Records Manager leads the Records team to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant documentation for all aircraft, engine, APU, and component assets. This role combines leadership with hands-on oversight of record compilation, reconciliation, and delivery to support acquisitions, leasing, remarketing, and end-of-life programs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Oversight & Compliance Review and maintain technical records for all major assemblies. Ensure adherence to FAA, EASA, and CAA requirements, including AD/SB compliance, OCCM, LDND, repairs, modifications, and LLP back-to-birth traceability. Records Governance Lead and mentor the Records team. Ensure staff follow company and regulatory procedures, coordinate internal and external audits, and act as liaison with lessors, maintenance organisations, and authorities. Asset Lifecycle Support Produce and audit records for acquisitions, pre-purchase inspections, engine shop visits, lease returns, landing gear events, and end-of-life liquidations. Identify and resolve discrepancies; prepare records packages for investors, airlines, and MROs. Vendor Management Hire, coordinate, and oversee third-party vendors engaged for records review, reconciliation, and compliance checks. Set quality standards, monitor performance, and ensure deliverables meet regulatory and commercial requirements. Act as the main point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders. Reporting & Analytics Deliver periodic reports on asset status, maintenance events, and life-limited component usage. Support asset management with data for maintenance reserve projections and residual value estimates. Continuous Improvement Evaluate and improve record-keeping processes. Lead the OCR and digitisation effort to reduce document processing time and clear backlog. Implement automated scanning, indexing, and back-to-birth trace verification tools. Ensure accurate metadata capture and timely integration into records systems. Stakeholder Liaison Respond to records requests from asset management, sales, investors, auditors, and regulators. Provide technical records support during transactions and customer engagements.

Required Experience: Bachelors degree in Aviation, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of technical/aircraft records experience in an airline, MRO, leasing, or trading environment. Familiarity with lease return requirements, OCCM, LDND, AD/SB compliance, repairs, modifications, landing gears, engines, and back-to-birth trace practices. Experience with TRAX, AMOS, or similar MRO/records systems. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects. Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills.

Preferred: Prior experience in leasing/asset management environment.
