Corporate Call Center Operator from the Company DK Security, Inc. located in Grand Rapids, MI, United States. This position requires a Bachelor Degree. This Call Center vacancy is open to job seekers with the latest education / graduate level.
Responsibilities
- Corporate Call Center Operator in person position. Scope: Command Center Operators are an integral part of DK's team; responsible for providing effective, 24 hour/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year support to our corporate management team as well as our supervisors and employees in the field, and ultimately our customers and clients.
- Operate a multi-line switchboard, process pre-employment background screening, process company-wide payroll, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Schedule: 2nd Shift: 4 PM – Midnight (ACA: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday); 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 6 AM (PT: Fri and every other Sunday); Part-time (0-29) and ACA FT (30-39+ hours may be available).
- Weekend availability required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
- Rate of Pay: $16.00/hour

Job Description / Responsibilities
- Must provide above excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
- Provide information and assistance to calling parties concerning emergency, security and general assistance needs.
- Follow procedures in dispatching personnel for emergency and non-emergency response.
- Accurately and quickly utilize computer-aided software for complaint documentation and processing of anonymous tip line calls.
- Serve as an information resource to DK employees and clients. Locate requested information through additional sources as needed.
- Process and report background screen requests.
- Process payroll companywide.
- Monitor an anonymous Whistleblower hotline, and provide thorough reports for clients.
- Monitor CCTV system using recording devices.
- Monitor, operate, test and data entry responsibility for a variety of computerized and electronic equipment used in access control, fire and security systems.
- Prepare reports, activity logs and files. Assist in the maintenance and distribution of reports, records and files.
- Assists security and event staff in scheduling/payroll processing, filling missed shifts, etc.
- Must follow site specific post guidelines.
- Document daily activities and incident reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 or older.
- Must be of good moral character, with no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses, theft, assault, or crimes of moral turpitude.
- Impeccable grooming and friendly, professional image.
- Above average customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED; some college experience.
- Associate's degree (or higher) in Criminal Justice, business administration, or related fields is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong communication skills; ability to de-escalate situations calmly.
- Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to manage emergency situations while handling normal control center functions.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and prioritize decisions.
- Ability to interact effectively with professional personnel at all levels within the company, outside agencies, and the public.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and write English and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.
- Basic math skills; proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexible schedule and reliable transportation; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
