Overview
IT Executive Support Specialist with Brunswick Corporation. This role focuses on ensuring seamless business operations through expert troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Responsibilities include network support, equipment installation and configuration, Office 365 and Microsoft Teams assistance, and cross‑platform support across Windows, Android, and Apple operating systems. The role also provides executive support and ensures optimal performance of audio/visual equipment, communication systems, and site security controls. You will serve as a local IT resource and collaborate with Brunswick Infrastructure IT teams to enhance site operations, promote process improvements, and participate in special projects. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety, security, and compliance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve advanced issues by providing first‑level support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure across departments. Troubleshoot Windows, Android, and Apple operating systems and peripherals, resolving issues when possible before escalating.
- Network support and testing: assist with testing Brunswick network infrastructure, verify connectivity to switches, perform basic Wi‑Fi surveys, troubleshoot firewall issues, and ensure effective local ISP communication.
- Advanced device management: manage device replacements per warranty schedules, deploy new technologies, and assist with installation of network hardware (servers, switches). Support warehouse operations equipment, site security processes, and controls.
- Provide audio and visual support for Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Documentation and compliance: maintain accurate documentation of work processes, device management, and compliance activities, ensuring installations adhere to Brunswick Information Security guidelines.
- Team collaboration and knowledge sharing: engage in group initiatives, share expertise, and guide colleagues to improve performance; support cross‑functional tasks to deliver technology solutions.
- Technical resource and project execution: act as a key technical resource, assist with planning and executing special projects without compromising current duties, and communicate changes or outages to end users.
- Warranty and repair: conduct advanced warranty and repair work with vendors and support ordering computers and accessories for site needs.
- Customer service: deliver excellent user support, understand needs, provide timely resolutions, escalate complex issues to Level III or Team Lead as needed.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Android and Apple devices, Configuration Manager, Active Directory, corporate networks, Modern Workplace, Azure AD, End Point Manager, Intune, Office 365.
- Education: Associate’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Work experience: 3+ years of related IT support experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65,000 – $104,300 annually. Base pay varies with qualifications, experience, business needs, and location. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
