Overview NinjaTrader is seeking an IT Support Engineer to support a rapidly growing, global fintech environment. You will help ensure our people, systems, and tools work seamlessly together by managing identity and device security, automating SaaS workflows, and delivering exceptional employee experiences across the company.
What you'll do Provide responsive, courteous, and high-quality support for employee requests across desktop, laptop, software, mobile devices, and business-critical applications
Administer Okta as our Identity Provider (IDP), including SSO and SCIM provisioning/de-provisioning for secure user lifecycle management
Manage and support JAMF (macOS) and Intune (Windows) to ensure compliance, security, and a consistent end-user experience
Administer and support SaaS applications including Slack, Office 365, and Google Workspace, ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding, license management, and integrations
Configure and optimize JIRA Service Desk automation to streamline ticket routing, approvals, and resolution workflows
Deliver end-user training and frontline support via phone, email, and chat with a focus on professionalism and rapid issue resolution
Log, track, and manage requests using the service desk system, applying analytical skills to determine when escalation is required
Contribute to improving IT processes, automating provisioning, and enhancing security posture as the company scales
What you'll need 3+ years of IT support or IT systems engineering experience in a modern enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of Okta administration (SSO, SCIM, MFA policies)
Hands-on experience with JAMF and Intune for device management
Experience supporting Slack, Office 365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS productivity tools
Experience with JIRA Service Desk administration and automation
Familiarity with Microsoft, Apple, and Linux operating systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling organization, working independently under minimal supervision
Bonus points for Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or industry certifications (Okta, Jamf, Intune, CompTIA, etc.)
Experience automating IT workflows and SaaS user lifecycle management
Prior support experience in a cloud-first SaaS or fintech company
Compensation The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 USD. This position includes an annual target bonus of 6%. Bonus pay is based on individual (50%) and company/team (50%) performance. NinjaTrader also offers a 401K plan with company matching up to 3.5%, and annual paid time off of 18 days plus seven paid holidays.
Location & Hybrid This role is based in Chicago, IL. We are not open to remote candidates. For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday–Thursday with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Additional benefits include 20 flex remote days annually and 5 Company-Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays.
