Job Description Salary: $21 Westaff is seeking an experienced Assembler Line Lead in the North Kingstown, RI area for IMMEDIATE hire.
Hours: 5am - 4pm (Mon-Thurs) Pay: $21 an hour
Job Description:
- Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output and on-time delivery targets - Identify material/capacity constraints and resolve issues, including chasing material shortages, expediting and prioritizing functions (receiving, inspection, mfg. engineering, etc.) and escalating issues - Ensure all components being used are to the BOM. Verify that the printed labels are correct. - Ensure that ERP transactions are completed to reflect physical material movement - Achieve cycle count accuracy goals - Ensure production activities are completed in accordance with design and process documentation - Lead daily production meeting and assist with creating and publishing
daily/weekly/monthly
metrics - Assist with training and coaching of production workforce - Use data and continuous improvement tools to resolve internal and external corrective actions - Assist engineering with Proto-types and special projects for new development of product lines
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Inventory Management software (Mapics experience a plus) - Demonstrate the ability to lead by example, to provide guidance, mentoring to peers and to promote team work. - 5 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment - 1-3 years experience with PCB Soldering and Confrormal Coating Machines
