Overview Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer with experience working in web and mobile channels, who is passionate about their craft and excited to explore the opportunities that conversational AI technology presents for making investing approachable for all audiences.

Consult with the product owner to help inform product strategy. Contribute to the culture of the UXD group. Expertise and Skills
4-6+ years of UX or related experience is preferred. A degree in a related field (interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, information systems design, or human factors) is preferred. Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products is preferred. Experience working in multi-product environments is preferred. Experience running and/or using research to support evidence-focused design decisions is preferred. A digital portfolio we can review online is required. Skills: an array of design skills including visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, front end development, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing. Ability to design across web, native, and conversational channels. Effective communication as a writer, presenter, storyteller and facilitator; comfortable with developer partners or executives. Foundation of development knowledge, both web and mobile; bonus for experience with vibe-coding or NLU/NLP. Familiarity with the value of design systems and understanding reuse and scale. Ability to partner with user research to understand customer problems to tackle. Ability to work closely with data scientists and cognitive engineers on AI problems and capabilities. Ability to distill qualitative and quantitative feedback into recurring themes and data-driven design decisions. Curiosity to ask why and a design mindset that aims for customer happiness. Working Arrangements Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring onsite presence every other week in a Fidelity office unless specified otherwise. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles. Safety is our top priority. When it is appropriate to be together in person, the role will follow our dynamic working approach, with some time onsite depending on the needs of the role.
