This role is expected to provide onsite support is required throughout design, construction, and qualification phases. Remote support may be approved prior to mobilization, and reimbursable travel will be needed for design partner and supplier coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of Buildings Administration, Laboratory, Visitor center and Electrical Service entry.
- Provide leadership across administrative space (450 seats, conference rooms, cafeteria) and laboratory space supporting quality control testing.
- Coordinate design of regulated lab spaces ensuring GMP/ISO compliance.
- Oversee visitor center construction, including site security and electrical integration.
- Provide full project management leadership in scope, schedule, budget, safety, and risk management.
- Lead preparation of RFPs and bids for lab/office construction packages.
- Manage risks, issues, and lessons learned; ensure regulatory compliance across laboratory scope.
- Maintain consistent project communications and reporting to Lilly GFD.
Requirements
- 10+ years of previous experience of large Capital Construction Projects, managing laboratory and administrative office construction projects.
- Strong understanding of lab utilities, cleanroom HVAC, compressed gases, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with life sciences regulatory standards (CQV, GMP, ISO) or FDA regulations.
- Proficiency with PM tools (P6/MS Project) and MS Office.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills.
