We are seeking a versatile and skilled *Diesel Mechanic with Aluminum Welding/Fabrication experience* to join our team. This unique role requires a strong mechanical background in diesel engine repair, along with hands-on expertise in aluminum welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate will ensure our fleet and equipment operate safely and efficiently while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems.
* Perform routine maintenance, disassembly/reassembly, and component alignment for optimal engine performance.
* Service and maintain various equipment, including forklifts, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems within diesel-powered equipment.
* Fabricate and weld aluminum components as needed for equipment repair or modification.
* Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and work performed.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service needs and updates.
* Follow all safety protocols in both shop and field environments.
*Qualifications*
* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
* Proficiency in aluminum welding and fabrication techniques.
* Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
* Valid driver’s license required; CDL A/B is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
