Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager (TAM) specializing in cybersecurity to manage strategic relationships with our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) partners. This role is critical in providing expert guidance and technical solutions to enhance the knowledge and security posture of Vectra-based service offerings. The TAM will serve as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between our cybersecurity solutions, MSSP partners, and customer needs while ensuring smooth optimization, adoption and ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Management

Serve as the primary technical liaison between Vectra and focus MSSP partners

Build and maintain strong relationships with MSSP's delivery engineers and analysts

Identify adoption opportunities for MSSP customers, and enable MSSP engineers to deliver it to their customers

Technical Excellence & Solutions

Provide consultative guidance to MSSP engineers to optimize deployment, configuration, and integration of Vectra solutions

Assist MSSPs in delivering proactive recommendations for risk mitigation to their end customers

Support troubleshooting initiatives and implement cybersecurity best practices

Collaborate with Vectra Product Management to ensure solutions align with MSSP partner needs

Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and compliance requirements

Enablement

Develop MSSP specific implementation and analysis playbooks

Create educational content and resources to improve security awareness across partner organizations

Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and technical workshops

Support partner certification and skill development initiatives

Operational Support

Provide technical guidance for complex deployments and integrations

Assist with escalated customer issues and technical challenges

Monitor and optimize partner performance metrics

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably with MSSP or managed services background

Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, and incident response

Experience with security orchestration platforms and integration technologies

Understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements

Relationship Management

Proven track record of managing strategic B2B partnerships

Experience working with MSSPs, MSPs, or channel partners

Strong customer success and account management background

Ability to build trust and serve as a technical advisor to senior stakeholders

Communication & Collaboration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences

Strong project management and organizational skills

Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and support teams

Industry Knowledge

Deep understanding of the MSSP market and business models

Knowledge of cybersecurity industry trends and best practices

Experience with threat intelligence and security analytics

Familiarity with enterprise security architectures

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in relevant field

Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar)

Experience with Vectra or similar NDR/XDR platforms

Previous experience managing large-scale MSSP partnerships

Knowledge of federal, SLED, and healthcare market segments

Success Metrics

MSSP partner satisfaction and retention rates

Technical implementation success rates

Partner revenue growth and expansion

Customer escalation resolution time

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel to partner locations and industry events

Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate's location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.

$91,700—$177,300 USD
