Software Engineer - High-Frequency Trading - Austin

A leading High-Frequency Trading firm based in Austin is seeking an adept Software Engineer to help design, develop, deploy, and maintain their Trading Systems and related tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Trading Systems (utilizing C++)
• Develop automation tools utilized by Traders (utilizing Python)
• Help design and deploy the infrastructure hosting Trading Systems
• Collaborate with Traders, QDs, and QRs to identify bottlenecks in Trading operations, and develop suitable tools/solutions

Requirements:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency with C++ and Python
• Experience with C# and C (nice-to-have)
• Experience developing Trading Systems and related tools (nice-to-have)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
