Manufacturing Specialist Wanted
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will play a vital role in converting raw materials and components into finished goods through various manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include: Implementing all production processes while adhering to strict quality control guidelines. Participating in departmental projects and quality working teams. Initiating new procedures and making minor revisions to existing documents. Troubleshooting simple existing procedures. Demonstrating procedures as part of training sessions and scheduling activities involving coworkers. Additional requirements include: Performing general production manufacturing work. Assembling finished components or parts into finished products. Processing manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical and chemical processing. Setting up and operating machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Conducting surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items. Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for protection, display, and handling. Collaborating with team members to achieve production goals. Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require: A high school diploma or equivalent plus 1+ years of related experience or an associate degree or higher with no prior experience required. Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing principles. Basic laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment knowledge. Proficiency in multiple mathematical disciplines and ability to work with metric and USA standards of measurement. Understanding of basic chemical and biological safety procedures. Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Working Conditions:
This position involves: Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean room garments daily. Removing make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment. Working in a cold, wet environment. Occasional exposure to chemicals requiring respiratory protection. Bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and squatting motions. Carrying up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing/pulling over 100 lbs. Standing for extended periods of time over an 8 or 12-hour shift. Climbing ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning. Benefits:
