Full-Time Positions available for MDs in a Psychiatric Emergency Room setting within the psychiatry service at New York Presbyterian Hospital. The candidate will
provide direct patient care, be a team leader, there are opportunities for teaching Columbia medical students and residents and for professional development in an academic medical center.; Assistant Professor or Instructor Level. Assistant professor requires board certification in psychiatry and 2-3 years post-residency clinical experience. Instructor level requires graduation from a psychiatric residency program. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not essential. Must have NYS license and DEA certificate.
This role includes opportunities for additional compensation aligned with the department's comprehensive compensation plan.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
MD or DO from accredited institution
New York State License
Active DEA License
Board certification
