$20.47 to $22.52 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Performs experienced crafts and trades work in the repair and maintenance of small gasoline-powered and diesel-powered engines and light machinery and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS :
One (1) year of experience in the repair and maintenance of small gasoline-powered and diesel-powered engines and other equipment used in the maintenance of grounds. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (as defined in AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employees will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
