*Patient Service Specialist - Burlington, NJ *
*Position Type:* Contract (covering maternity leave, with potential for permanent placement)
*Schedule:*
* Monday: 8am - 5pm (Lunch: 1pm-2pm) * Tuesday: 8am - 7pm (Lunch: 1pm-2pm) * Wednesday: 8am - 2pm (No lunch) * Thursday: 8am - 7pm (Lunch: 1pm-2pm) * Friday: 8am - 2pm (No lunch) * *No weekends!* *Work Environment:*
* Onsite, 5 days per week * Work alongside another Patient Service Specialist * Supportive, team-oriented environment *Top Skills & Qualifications* * Prior customer service experience and professional work experience (retail, hospitality, healthcare, or recent college graduates with a 4-year degree welcome) * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, especially for handling conversations with patients who may be upset * Ability to navigate desktop computers, use Microsoft Office software, and operate a traditional office phone * Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners *Job Responsibilities* * Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next steps at check-out * Schedule patient appointments in person and over the phone * Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team * Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications * Prepare patient intake forms prior to appointments to ensure timely service * Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed * Counsel patients regarding their financial responsibility at the time of service * Achieve quality assurance goals and adhere to established payment controls * Effectively communicate with all contacts to resolve issues and solve problems * Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff *Why Join Us?*
