Housekeeping Worker Job at Flushing Hospital in New York State

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women's Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees.The Department of Environmental Services Department at Flushing Hospital Medical Center is seeking experienced Housekeeping Workers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Selected candidates will maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of assigned facility areas.
• Performing a range of cleaning tasks, from mopping and floor buffing to room sanitizing and waste disposal.
• Properly cleaning and storing of equipment and chemicals
• Utilizing appropriate chemical for each cleaning task

Requirements
