Role OverviewThe Senior Project Manager (SPM) will lead complex mechanical construction projects from inception to completion, with a focus on financial oversight, team leadership, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, experience in data center or heavy industrial projects, and the ability to manage large teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Lead project teams including APMs, field supervisors, QA/QC personnel, and subcontractors.
- Manage financial aspects of projects including forecasting, revenue growth analysis, and change order negotiations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to pursue new business opportunities and support strategic growth.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and union labor standards.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and succession planning.
- 5-10+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management.
- Proven track record managing projects valued at $40M+ annually.
- Strong financial background with experience in cost analysis, projections, and change orders.
- Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
