Sterilization Technician - Dental Center Operations Are you organized, dependable, and passionate about maintaining high standards in healthcare environments? Join our Dental Center team as a Sterilization Technician, where your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly support quality patient care.
What You'll Do As a Sterilization Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that dental instruments are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. You'll help maintain a safe and efficient environment by following strict infection control protocols and supporting the clinical team with timely and accurate instrument preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Instrument Care & Sterilization: Clean, sanitize, and organize dental instruments to meet the highest standards of hygiene and readiness. * Compliance & Safety: Follow OSHA guidelines and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment. * Cycle Management: Sterilize instruments promptly upon receipt and monitor sterilization cycles using tracking systems. * Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of spore testing and sterilization processes. * Inventory Support: Keep supply orders updated and organized to support smooth daily operations. * Team Communication: Report equipment or supply issues to the Lead Sterilization Tech and respond to provider requests for instruments and handpieces. * Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet departmental goals and support the Dental Center's mission. What You Bring Must-Have Skills:
* Experience with sterilization, packaging, and infection control procedures * Familiarity with inventory systems and maintaining inventory accuracy * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently * Comfortable working with medical and dental instruments * HSPA Certification preferred Top Skills:

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
