Nevada Trust Officer - Digital Asset Custody (PartTime, hourly)

AnchorWatch Trust Company (upon approval, state-chartered trust entity in Nevada)

Nevada (Remote/Hybrid) -

REQUIRED: Nevada Residency.

MUST live and work in Nevada

and be available for periodic on-site regulatory meetings in Las Vegas, Reno, or Carson City.

AnchorWatch Trust Company (ATC) provides secure, multi-signature, multi-institutional cold storage custody for Bitcoin. The Trust Officer serves as a fiduciary representative responsible for ensuring compliance with Nevada regulatory statutes (NRS 669) while embedding AnchorWatch's rigorous risk-management standards and customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Fiduciary Oversight:

Act as the designated Nevada Trust Officer under NRS 669, overseeing fiduciary activities and maintaining compliance with the Nevada Financial Institutions Division (NFID).

Prepare and manage regulatory filings, examinations, and interactions with NFID, FinCEN, OFAC, and other relevant bodies.

Lead Trust Risk & Compliance Committee; implement and oversee AML/BSA, KYC, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting tailored to digital-asset custody.

Ensure strict adherence to AnchorWatch policies.

Stay informed about trust law changes and recommend updates to internal procedures accordingly.

Client Administration:

Approve new fiduciary accounts, validating Bitcoin sources of funds, and due diligence processes.

Execute fiduciary responsibilities as a trust officer.

Resolve beneficiary, trustee, and distribution complexities across personal, commercial, and institutional accounts.

Collaborate with AnchorWatch teams to ensure fiduciary compliance with policy conditions and limits.

Create ad hoc reporting as requested by regulators or AnchorWatch Inc.

Serve as a point of contact for trust beneficiaries, answering questions, explaining trust provisions, and maintaining transparency.

Operations & Risk Management:

Maintain accurate records of trust accounting and asset reconciliation.

Provide monthly reports to AnchorWatch Inc and quarterly reports for the AnchorWatch Trust board of directors detailing administration, risks, exceptions, and incident responses.

Oversee adherence to external audit frameworks, continuously improving operational resilience and security.

Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and legal advisors supporting trust operations and insurance compliance.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Nevada Residency. MUST live and work in Nevada

and be available for periodic on-site regulatory meetings in Las Vegas.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.

Demonstrated knowledge of Nevada trust company statutes (NRS 669) and applicable U.S. trust law, OR equivalent experience in trust administration under another U.S. state-chartered trust or bank trust department regime.

Experience in trust or custodial account administration, including fiduciary decision-making, compliance oversight, and preparation of regulatory filings.

Extensive knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and OFAC compliance.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and account management systems.

Strong ethical standards and willingness for comprehensive background, credit, and fingerprint checks.

Preferred

Knowledge in Bitcoin custody, including UTXOs, PSBTs, multisignature setups, hardware wallets, and blockchain analytics.
